World’s First 10K Interactive Video Wall System Features LG Ultra-Narrow 0.9mm Bezel Displays

It’s a creation of Q1 Design, the industry leaders in digital sales and marketing solutions for residential property project marketing; and Userful™, a leading provider of video communication solutions.

The install is located at a landmark riverfront location on Queen St. in Brisbane City by one of Australia’s most awarded and trusted national developers responsible for some of Australia’s most recognizable high-end property developments.

The 10K video wall system, utilizing LG displays with 0.9mm bezels, is used in the Experience Center on a daily basis to showcase the landmark development and ultimately help sell property within the building. The video wall is so impressive that it draws people from the street into the center.

In the Experience Center sales agents and customers interact less than three feet away from the video wall, which is why an extremely high level of resolution was key in making the experience both impressive and immersive.

Q1 Design’s video walls webpage states, “4K video wall? That’s old news. 8K video wall? Not innovative enough for us at Q1 Design. It is not often these days that you see technology that is so amazing it blows you away.

“That is exactly what we set out to create with the world’s first UW10K Interactive Videowall. Comprising of 24 55” LG ultra-narrow 0.9mm bezel screens and a full 11520×4320 pixel resolution. The image detail is real enough to mesmerize onlookers with video so immersive they could dive in.”

The video wall is powered by a 10K Userful software API solution. The software allows content to be displayed from any source, anywhere on display walls of 100+ screens using just one PC/Server. Users can control the video wall and interact with it from a desktop, phone or tablet.

To make the most of this powerful communication solution, Q1 Design developed a mobile app to allow dynamic interactive control of content using a touch screen iPad. With it, users can switch between floor level units, floor plans, views and features, with 3D walkthroughs, fly throughs and more. And feel like they’re right there.

Userful Wins 2019 BIG Innovation Technology Award for uClient Application with LG webOS Signage Platform

The Business Intelligence Group (BIG) has recognized Userful Corporation, a leading provider of video communication solutions, with their BIG Innovation Technology Award for Userful’s uClient digital signage application. The award recognizes those organizations and people who bring new ideas to life. Whether that idea is big or small, these ideas change the way we experience the world.

Userful’s uClient is the first hardware-free video wall solution with LG smart webOS Signage displays.

The uClient app loads onto LG smart commercial displays and eliminates the hardware typically required to display content on screens throughout an organization. Userful is introducing uClient on LG’s webOS Signage platform to enable the capabilities of LG’s array of webOS enabled digital signage displays for multiple applications.

uClient connects the visual networking platform with the family of LG smart displays, and includes a wide range of advanced features, such as zones, scheduling, cloud storage space, display synching for video walls, and more. Content is delivered directly to the display from the network and is the first solution to support video wall management in its many forms.

According to the press release, “This year’s winners show just how deep a role innovation plays in nearly every aspect of business,” said Maria Jimenez, chief operating officer of the Business Intelligence Group. “We are thrilled to be honoring Userful as they are leading by example and making real progress on improving the daily lives of so many.”

Congratulations to Userful Corporation on your BIG win!

See LG’s Advanced Medical Imaging Capture and Display Devices at HIMSS19

blogPost1

The HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) Global Conference & Exhibition brings together 45,000+ health information and technology professionals, clinicians, executives and market suppliers from around the world. Exceptional education, world-class speakers, cutting-edge products and powerful networking are hallmarks of this industry-leading conference. HIMSS19 will run from February 11 to 15 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

LG will be there, at Booth #1687, showcasing a variety of its U.S. healthcare solutions – advanced medical imaging capture and display devices designed to provide visual confidence while maximizing efficiency in radiology and surgery. Among the products will be LG’s recently launched Thin Clients – secure cloud endpoints in All-in-One (AIO), desktop box and laptop form factors. These products accommodate the shift toward cloud infrastructures and the need for reliable, secure and manageable IT solutions, especially in data-laden and cost-sensitive applications like HIS, RIS and education.

Introducing a New PACS Hybrid Worklist Solution

LG’s All-in-One (AIO) Thin Clients can push modern Picture Archiving and Communication Systems workstations into their most productive and effective form – reducing components and TCO. In this unique application the AIO Thin Clients do not require a cloud infrastructure; instead, they are used as a pure web browser.

The innovative new solution changes today’s PACS workstation setup to make it easier and uncluttered for the end user. It eliminates the large workstation computer, graphics card and bulky cables, and replaces them with an LG 38-inch AIO Curved UltraWide® Thin Client. The AIO Thin Client serves as a computer and also as the worklist monitor, to run PACS web-browser-based applications. Users can connect up to two LG or third-party Review/Diagnostic monitors for a complete PACS solution.

Going to HIMSS19? Be sure to see these and other LG medical imaging products at Booth #1687.

LG OLED Falls Exhibit Makes a Big Splash at CES 2019

In case you missed the show, you missed an amazing, immersive installation of flexible LG OLED commercial displays that wowed the crowds. The “LG OLED Falls” featured 260 LG OLED digital signage screens, in curved and flat configurations, giving tens of thousands of CES visitors a one-of-a-kind experience of natural wonders.

Welcoming visitors to LG’s sprawling CES booth adjacent to the main entrance of the Las Vegas Convention Center, the stunning LG OLED Falls featured 76 concave, 72 convex and 112 flat 55-inch LG OLED screens. It was a must-see CES attraction, following in the tradition of the “LG OLED Canyon” at CES 2018 and the “LG OLED Tunnel” at CES 2017.

CES attendees’ jaws literally dropped when they saw the LG OLED Falls, which measured 20 feet high and 65 feet wide, displaying alluring images of curves of the desert, waterfalls, ocean and light. The incredible video experience was further enhanced by advanced, immersive audio, which is included in 2019 LG OLED TVs for the consumer market.

LG OLED technology has created a new high-end category of displays that delivers an awe-inspiring picture with perfect black and incredible color, even from wide viewing angles, unlike any LCD/LED display. LG OLED uses self-lighting pixels that can be turned on and off individually for exact control of image brightness and quality, delivering infinite contrast ratio optimized for high dynamic range content. And with no separate light source, the displays are extremely lightweight and thin, making them flexible enough to be curved, or rolled.

Have a look.
