LG’s new LAT140 Transparent Color LED Film digital signage display can turn virtually any indoor window or glass surface into a canvas for a wide range of content from bold text to head-turning animations and images. This new model improves on the previous version by providing a smaller pixel pitch for more image detail plus higher brightness to grab the attention of passersby.
First introduced with 24mm pixel pitch, the new LAT140 14mm version nearly quadruples the number of pixels in the same space and doubles the brightness up to 2,100 nits, generating an incredibly vibrant viewing experience. It offers a wide-open view while blending smoothly into existing interior design, all the while delivering messaging in a dynamic and effective manner.

Self-adhesive application makes for seamless installation, easily attaching to surfaces of existing window glass – you peel the LED film off its backing like a sticker and apply it to the desired surface, then connect the power and data cables. What’s more, the film can be trimmed down in parallel with the bezel, opening a host of new customization options. Expansion requires merely adding more film in a vertical or horizontal format or cutting them to size in parallel with the bezel. The LAT140 Transparent Color LED Film also supports convex and concave curvatures for curved glass or window applications, allowing a wide range of venues to be redesigned with the LAT series as a landmark.
A Control Manager facilitates display content management. Available on internet-connected devices, users can control content and monitor the status of multiple displays in different locations in real time. This is especially useful for larger installations in which users need to review content before sending it to the display. The Control Manager also allows users to adjust and set brightness based on the time of day, so that the messaging is not washed out in daylight or too bright at night.
The LG Transparent Color LED Film is compatible with webOS™ Signage, a web-centric platform that allows system integrators and developers to build web-based solutions according to various environments. By supporting open API and compatibility with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, users can save time and effort creating display content.
